Brahms String Quartet no. 3, Op. 67
Johannes Brahms composed his String Quartet no. 3, Op. 67, in 1875. It was published by Simrock the following year, shortly after its premiere. The piece is in four movements, written in the key of B flat major, and it bears a dedicatory to Professor Th. W. Engelmann, an amateur cellist who had hosted Brahms on a visit to Utrecht.
