Jacopo Corfini was an Italian composer. He was a pupil of Brumel in Ferrara, as he himself stated in the dedication of his first book of motets addressed to the Duke of Ferrara. On 2 February 1557 he was appointed to succeed Nicolao Malvezzi as organist at S Martino, Lucca, where he remained until his death (his successor, Gioseffo Guami, was elected on 5 April 1591).
