Haydn String Quartets, Op. 50

Franz Joseph Haydn composed his set of String Quartets, Op. 50 (currently referred to as Hob. III 44-49) in 1787. They were dedicated to King Frederick William II of Prussia, which earned them the nickname 'Prussian Quartets'.
