The String Quartet no. 2 in B minor (also 'Preis-Quartett') was composed by Joseph Miroslav Weber in 1891, and first performed the following year in St. Petersburg, Russia. It first appeared in print that same year in Leipzig, published by Wilhelm Hansen. The quartet is a work in four movements, in the key of B minor, with a standard playing time of 23 minutes. It was dedicated to Ernst Ludwig.
