String Quartet, Op. 61 no. 1

The String Quartet, Op. 61 no. 1, is a work in four movements composed by John Lodge Ellerton, probably in 1850. It was dedicated to "Her Royal Highness: Pauline, Dowager Duchess of Nassau". The piece first appeared in print in 1852.
