The Piano Concerto No. 16 in D, KV. 451 is a work for piano and orchestra by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, written for performance at a series of concerts at the Vienna venues of the Trattnerhof and the Burgtheater in 1784, where he was the soloist. The score calls for solo piano, flute, two oboes, two bassoons, two horns, two trumpets, timpani and strings. Contemporary comments note the sophisticated character of woodwind writing when compared to Mozart's previous concerti.
