Falla Homenaje

Homenaje is a piece for solo guitar composed by Manuel de Falla in 1920, to be included in a collection of works dedicated to the memory of Claude Debussy. Said collection, entitled Tombeau de Debussy, was commissioned by Henri Prunières, director of Revue musicale, It included, among others, pieces from Dukas, Roussel, Gossens, Satie, Stravinsky, and Bartok, Homenaje was the only guitar work, and had its premiere in 1921 in Paris.
