Manuel Villar was a music teacher and composer born in Tudela Navarre on May 3, 1849. Died in Bilbao on October 28, 1902. He belonged to the chapel of Tudela Cathedral music as soprano; his teachers were Paul Puebla, Angel Malumbres and Enrique Barrera. At 18 he was cantor at the Basilica of Santiago in Bilbao.
