Mason Bethany

Bethany, also called Nearer, My God, to Thee is a sacred hymn for Mixed chorus composed by Lowell Mason. It was first published in 1859 in The Sabbath Hymn and Tune Book (according to Fuld - other sources cite 1856), The librettists of this piece were Sarah Flower Adams (1805-1848) and Phillips Brooks (1835-1893)
