Sergei Vasilievich Yevseyev was a Russian composer. Yevseyev studied with Lew Konius, Alexander Weiser and Sergei Taneyev gold. He taught from 1919 to 1930 theory at the School of Music from 1922 until his death at the Moscow Conservatory. He composed three symphonies, a piano and a clarinet concerto, chamber music, two piano sonatas, a dithyramb for voice, violin, cello and piano as well as songs and choruses by folk songs of the Russians, Mari and Mordvinians.
