Farkas Ödön (Farkas) was a Hungarian composer.
Farkas was a pupil of Ábrányi Kornél and Nikolics Sándor. From 1879 until his death he worked in Kolozsvár as director of the conservatory, and in 1882-83 director of the theater. His operas at that time were popular. He was renowned singing teacher.
