Nicolas-Joseph chart Rain was a native of the present-day Belgium violinist and composer of classical music. Nicolas-Joseph chart Rain was one of those composers originating from Liege who have successfully worked in the 18th century in Paris, Jean-Noël Hamal, Antoine-Frédéric André-Ernest-Gresnick or Modeste Grétry. The first indications of his work comes from 1772, when he received employment as a violinist at the Paris Opera and Concert. In the latter, he joined 1777-1779.
