Balloco, Giuseppe Luigi (Balochi, Balocchi, Ballocco) was born in Vercelli da Agostino in 1766 and studied at the College Dal Pozzo in Pisa, graduating in law in 1786. He left early, however, the legal sciences to cultivate poetry and the music to which his genius was naturally disposed.
