Dvořák Piano Quartet no. 1, Op. 23

Antonín Dvořák composed his Piano Quartet no. 1, Op. 23, in 1875, and it was published five years later. It is a work in three movements, scored for a standard string trio (violin, viola, violoncello) plus piano, with a lenght of 35 minutes. The Quartet is sometimes referred to by its entry number in the Burghauser catalogue of Dvořák's works, B. 53.
