Frédéric Chopin wrote this Waltz in A flat major in 1827. It was published posthumously, in 1902, by Breitkopf & Härtel. The piece was dedicated to Emily Elsner, and it was one of the many to not receive an Op. number upon its publication. It is therefore referred to by its Brown Catalogue number, B. 21.
