Johann Sebastian Bach wrote his Fantasia and Fugue in C minor around 1704, though it was only published almost a hundred years later, in 1803. The fantasia movement has been catalogued as BC L.133 and the fugue as L. 138, and, according to the Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis, the whole work is named BWV 906.
