Debussy Suite Bergamasque
Debussy began writing his *Suite Bergamasque* around 1890 but did not publish it until 1905, after thoroughly revising it. Consequently, it is unknown which parts of the finished suite correspond to the original version and which belong to the revision; what is clear is that, by the time Debussy was asked to publish the piece, he no longer cared for the style in which he had written it ten years earlier, and significant changes were made to the music. The suite consists of four movements, the third of which — Clair de lune — is arguably one of Debussy's most popular piano pieces.
