Brahms 3 Secular songs for choir, Op. 42

Johannes Brahms' 3 Songs, Op. 42, were written between 1859 and 1861 and first published in 1872. The set is scored for mixed SAATBB choir, and based on text by Clemens Brentano (1778–1842), Wilhelm Müller (1794–1827), and James Macpherson (1736–1796).
