Maple Leaf Rag

The "Maple Leaf Rag" is an early ragtime piano piece composed by Scott Joplin. It was one of Joplin's first works, and became a model for ragtime compositions by subsequent composers. As a result of this composition, Joplin was called the "King of Ragtime". It is one of the most famous of all ragtime pieces. It is a short piece, lasting about 3 minutes in normal performances.
