Listz Hamlet, S. 104
Hamlet, S. 104, is a symphonic poem by Franz Liszt, composed in 1858 and originally published as 'Symphonic Poem no. 10'. Like all but one of Liszt's 13 symphonic poems, Hamlet was written while Liszt was working in Weimar. It was dedicated to Princess Carolyne zu Sayn-Wittgenstein. The piece was first published in 1861 in Leipzig by Breitkopf und Härtel, and was premiered 18 years after its composition, on the 2nd of July of 1876 in the city of Sondershausen.
