In 1908 he was organist at the Storkyrkan and at the same time teacher at the Conservatory of Stockholm. As a composer Fryklöf emerged especially with songs and piano works, besides he composed, among other several motets, sacred choral songs a cappella and other church music and a violin sonata, which is considered one of his best works.
