Xavier Popule meus

Popule Meus is the musical setting of an improperia of the same name composed by José María Xavier. An improperia, or Reproach, is a series of antiphons and responses, expressing the remonstrance of Jesus Christ with his people. Popule Meus is composed for a mixed SATB chorus, 2 euphoniums, and strings. it is in the key of F minor.
