Frescobaldi Key Signature "Se l'aura spira tutta vezzosa"

I have your Frscobaldi as above,thank you for this. There is a b flat in the key signature, yet it seems to be in G minor. Why is this? Could it be one of the "other modes"? Also wouldbe kind enough to explain the other things I do not know. the b flat and 3 at the start, the top and bottom "blobs" there" and the "heavy" block at the end of sectiion 1. It's G minor. People back then prefer to use 1 flat instead of present 2. It's harmonically easier to write than the normal one... At least that's my opinion, may this helps you:)
