Bach Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C major, BWV 564

Johann Sebastian Bach wrote his Toccata, Adagio, and Fugue in C major, BWV 564, in the period between 1710 and 1717. It is thought that the first manuscript copies were made around 1719, but there is no surviving autograph copy. The piece itself shows, like others composed in the 1710-1717 period, influences for the concert style.
