Quintet Sheet Music

A quintet is a piece written for five performers. Quintets are usually multi movement works involving many musical forms, but in many cases composers choose to simply designate their works as 'quintets'. Quintets are usually scored for a standard string quartet plus an instrument which gives the quintet its name (for example, a 'clarinet quintet' is scored for 2 violins, viola, cello, and clarinet).
