Johan Wilhelm Ludvig Zinck was a German-born musician and composer who worked in Denmark. He was the father of the actor Otto Zinck and archaeologist Louis Zinck. At the time 1819-42 he was became a choirmaster at the theater; Moreover, he participated much in the capital's music scene. He was concertmaster of the harmonic Company, and directed a number of years the king's regiment band at Gjethuset (gæthuset, foundry house). In 1838 he became titular professor.
