Italian composer and music teacher. Son of singer Nicola Tacchinardi, brother of the singer Fanny Tacchinardi. He lived and worked in Florence, and studied with Teodulo Mabellini. In 1881-1917 he served as a Director of the Music Institute of Florence. He composed Requiem, oratorio "Jesus of Nazareth", three Masses, various orchestral and chamber works, textbooks of harmony and counterpoint, etc.
