Gervais Bernard Gaston Salvayre was a French composer. Salvayre had first music lessons in the choir of the Cathedral Saint-Étienne of his native town. He first studied at the Conservatory of Toulouse at Paul Mériel , later in the Conservatoire de Paris in Ambroise Thomas
