Gabriel Verdalle left behind several virtuoso pieces for harp. Opus 18 and Opus 24 are salon compositions originally written for cello and harp. He dedicated them to two of his friends and fellow cellists at the Paris Opera, Auguste Berthelier and Henri Sailler.
