Elegy no. 1, S. 196

Franz Liszt wrote his Elegy no. 1 in 1874, and first published in the following year through C.F. Kahnt in Leipzig. The work, catalogued as either S. 196 or LW.A266 is dedicated to the memory of Marie Moukhanoff-Kalergis (1822–1874).
