Berceuse, S. 174

Franz Liszt wrote his piano solo Berceuse, S. 174 in 1854, and published it the same year. It is a work in D flat major, catalogued as either S. 174/1 or LW. A186. He revised the piece in 1862 and republished it with changes in 1865, in what has become known as Berceuse, S. 174/2. This second version of the piece was dedicated to Princess Marelina Czartoryska (1817–1894).
