Trio pathétique

Trio pathétique is a Trio For clarinet, bassoon and piano composed around 1832 by Mikhail Glinka. He wrote it while he was visiting italy, with influence from Donizetti and Bellini. The trio was firts performed in Teatro La Scala, in Milan by Pietro Tassistro (clarinet), Antonio Cantu (bassoon) and the composer as pianist. The trio was probably first published in 1878. This trio became the last chamber piece to be composed by Glinka
