Symphony no. 8 in Bm 'Unfinished', D. 759

Fanz Schubert started writing his eight symphony, in the key of B minor, in 1822. However, he dropped it after finishing the piano version for the third movement (he orchestrated only the two first movements). To this day, scholars disagree on why he left the Symphony no. 8 unfinished, though many cite as a reason distraction cause by the composition of the Wanderer fantasy.
