Divertimento in D major, K. 334/320b

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his Divertimento no. 17 in D major, K. 334, between 1779 and 1780. It was probably written to commemorate the graduation of a close friend of Mozart's, Sigmund Robinig, from his law studies at the University of Salzburg in 1780. This divertimento is scored for strings and 2 horns and it consists of 6 movements. A typical performance of this divertimento lasts around 45 minutes.
