<p>I was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1931. I came to this country to study Music at the University of Louisville School of Music. At the end of my Freshman year my voice teacher sent me to the Music Academy of the West to study with Madame Lotte Lehmann. After my sophomore year I went to the Aspen Music School to study with famous baritone Mack Harrel. After Mr. Harrel had moved from Julliard to the Southern Methodist University, I went to study with him at S.M.U. for my Master's degree. After that I took my first college teaching job at Center College of Kentucky teaching Voice, Theory and Choral Conducting. In 1961 I returned to Korea to teach and perform. I taught Voice at Kyung Hee University, Han Yang University and Kaymyung University and Performed widely with symphony orchestras and in opera and in concert. In 1970 my family and I returned to the U.S. to teach at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI until my early retirement in 1989. I have performed widely in concerts and opera.</p>
