<p>Rachel Condry, clarinets, is an advocate of new and improvised music with a flair for education (for audiences and students alike). She has commissioned and premiered new works by both established and emerging composers and takes a special interest in local composers work.</p>
<p>In 2005 she made her Carnegie Hall debut as a member of The Matt Small Chamber Ensemble (<a href="http://www.mattsmall.org">http://www.mattsmall.org</a>), a group that seamlessly blends jazz, improvised music and classical genres. Rachel is a founding member of the San Francisco Composer's Chamber Orchestra (<a href="http://www.SFCCO.org">www.SFCCO.org</a>) where she is often featured. </p>
<p>Rachel is also a passionate teacher of clarinet as well as musical expression. She maintains a private studio in Oakland, CA and is on staff at the San Francisco Community Music Center.</p>
<p>Rachel received a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory and is attending Mills College for an MFA in Music Performance and Literature.</p>
