I started my musical studies on violin during grade school and started vocal sudies in high school. I earned my Bachelor's of Music at the San Francisco Conservatory and then moved to New York to attend graduate school at the Manhattan School of Music, where I studied with Cynthia Hoffmann (also Voice Department Director at the Juilliard School). I then studied at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana under Shirley Verrett in Siena, Italy, and then studied for three years with Franco Pagliazzi, tenor, in Florence. In San Francisco I performed as Venus in One Touch of Venus by Kurt Weill at SF City College and as Nella in Gianni Schicchi with the Golden Gate Opera. In 2006 I was hired as an AGMA Soprano with the SF Symphony Chorus. I am the soprano soloist at the Swedenborgian Church in San Francisco and I continue to perform as a soloist and professional chorister throughout the Bay Area. I teach both voice and violin to students of all ages and levels.
