Ole Roelof Börgdahl was born on May 23rd 1971 in Skellefteå, Västerbotten province, Sweden. He grew up in Skellefteå, Malmö and Lübeck. He loves documentaries and is pursuing with great interest the German Football League, without favouring one particular club. With classical music he can relax the best, but he also likes the songs of Amy Macdonald, Dolores O'Riordan and Adele. Reading is for Ole R. Börgdahl an important element of writing. On the question about his favourite books, he replied: "There is no favourite book, but I can name books that impressed me. This includes the 20 volumes of Rougon-Macquart by Emile Zola and Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky. I like the rich language in Zolas work. In Suite Francaise, besides the stories, the fate of Irène Némirovsky and the history of the book have personally moved me the most".
