Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as a "musical ace," keyboardist/composer/arranger/music director Carl Byron was raised in Cambodia, Congo, Mozambique, Turkey and the US. He studied with Aurelio de la Vega at California State University, Northridge and was composer-in-residence at the Elkhorn Music Festival and the Sun Valley Summer Symphony.

Carl is available for local & touring performances, recording (incl. demos), sidelining, arranging/orchestrating/music direction and other musical services. He is also available to teach rock/R&B/country/Americana-style piano/keyboards and practical music theory for singer/songwriters. He doubles on accordion, melodica and pan-pipes.

Carl is a professional keyboardist and composer with formal academic training (B.A. music composition) and wide-ranging real-world experience performing and/or recording with a diverse array of indie & major label artists and producers in many musical genres.
