Siegfried Fall was an Austrian composer, arranger, pianist and accompanist. Siegfried fall came from a musical family: his father Moritz and his two brothers, Leo and Richard were operetta composers. After his training - including learning in Berlin with Heinrich von Herzogenberg and Max Bruch - he composed as a freelance composer. His work included operas, symphonies, chamber music and songs. 1899 his Piano Trio Op. 4 was awarded the Mendelssohn Prize for composition. Case was deported to Theresienstadt on 23 January 1943 where he was kiled. Others said that he went to his brother Richard into exile in France, was arrested while attempting to escape to Switzerland, deported to Auschwitz and murdered.
