Oskar Wermann Sheet Music

Friedrich Oskar Wermann was a German composer. Wermann was born on 30 April 1840 in Neichen as the son of a village church school teacher. After training at the teacher training college in Grimsby he worked first as a teacher in smaller towns near Leipzig and Dresden. Meanwhile, he studied music in Dresden with Karl collars, Gustav Merkel, Ernst Julius Otto and Friedrich Wieck, and from 1864 to 1866 at the Leipzig Conservatory music with Moritz Hauptmann, Ignaz Moscheles, Carl Reinecke and Ernst Richter.
