Matvey Ivanovich Bernard was a Composer and pianist, founder of Russia's largest music publishing company. Bernard studied piano with the famous John Field and perfectly learned the virtues of his method, so that subsequently considered the best piano teacher. He started in Moscow, where he taught music, and occasionally acting in concert.
