Charles Wehle was a Czech pianist and composer. He studied in Prague with Josef Proksch and Ignaz Tedesco. At seventeen he made a concert tour through Europe. In 1844 h gave concerts in Hamburg and Malta, in 1846 in Marseille and two years later in London. His piano studies continued with Ignaz Moscheles in Leipzig and he studied music theory in Berlin with Theodor Kullaka.
