Johann Decker-Schenk was an Austrian guitarist and composer. was the son of resident violin and guitar maker Frederick Schenk, who is known for his bow guitars. Johann was a singer and guitarist; he performed until 1861 in Germany and England. Later he went to St. Petersburg, where he became head of the Operetta Theatre and died.
