Giovanni Paolo Caprioli was an Italian priest, abbate in Candiana, and composer. His Vulnerasti cor meum has been performed and recorded by Philippe Jaroussky. Two other solo motets - In lectulo per noctes and Congratulamini mihi omnes - appear in Ghirlanda sacra 1625.
