Franz Joseph Fröhlich was a German pedagogue and musicologist. Franz Joseph worked from 1797 onwards at the princely episcopal court orchestra at Wurzburg. He founded the same year the Collegium Musicum Academicum Wirceburgense, which later developed into the Würzburg College of Music.
