Ferdinando Bonamici was born in 1827 in Naples, where he was active as a teacher, pianist and composer. He was first secretary of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Maiella, where he was a music and piano teacher. Several of his compositions were written for this instrument, among these, the ones suitable for beginners, had a remarkable success.
