Cándido Candi was a Spanish musician. From 1864 and for 18 years he was an organist and Teacher of Chapel of the Saint Justo y Pastor.In 1872 he was nominated a Teacher of Chapel and organist of the Royal Monastery of Santa Clara of Barcelona until in 1887 I happen to occupy the same chargues in San Jaime´s churh.He was a Philosophical member of the Scientific Academy of Barcelona and honorific partner of the musical Barcelonian association.It composed numerous works of religious music,pieces for piano,lieders,pieces corals,and a collection of 32 popular Catalan singings.
