Carl Maria von Weber composed his Clarinet Concerto no. 1 in F minor, Op. 73 (also catalogued as J. 114) in 1811. Written for Clarinet in Bb, it was dedicated to Heinrich Bärmann, and it is nowadays considered a key piece in the clarinet repertoire. The concerto, a work in three movements according to the form standards, was first published in 1823. A standard rendition takes around 20 minutes.
