The Sonata no. 32, Op. 111, is the last of Beethoven's piano sonatas. Along with Beethoven's 33 Variations on a Waltz by Diabelli and his two collections of bagatelles, this was one of Beethoven's last compositions for piano. Written between 1821-2, it showcases fugal elements, like other late period works.
